Home page for coalition of healthcare professionals and organizations formed to promote patient safety in Colorado. The Colorado Patient Safety Coalition is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting patient safety through education, communication, collaboration and encouraging best practices. Coalition participants represent diverse perspectives from within and without the healthcare industry, and include professionals, institutions, regulators, purchasers and consumers. CPSC participants are not members, but rather individuals and entities wishing to learn, share and collaborate to improve patient safety in Colorado and beyond.

CPSC Mission Statement
Create a statewide culture of patient safety in Colorado.

CPSC accomplishes this mission by:
~Educating providers, consumers, and the media;
~Promoting, supporting, and encouraging sustainable improvements in patient safety
in Colorado health facilities;
~Promoting collaborative efforts among facilities and health professionals;
~Developing a statewide awards program;
~Identifying, promoting, and adopting best practices.
