Founded in 1975, the Washington Volvo Club is the continuation of a club begun in 1958 for the care and feeding of VOLVOs. In 1978, the WVC was chosen to participate in a print and video advertisement for VOLVO CARS. After that, everything changed, and we ceased being a purely local Club. We went from fifty members to about six hundred members, from Sweden to Malaysia, from Maine to California, and in various places in between!
